2023 ALABAMA FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

The time has come to start ranking 50 states that we covered this football season. 

To say I’m overwhelmed with the work that comes along with this is an understatement.

We had 12 Student Section of the Week winners in Alabama and that helped us determine who had the best Student Section and which ones wanted it more.

Just showing up in large crowds isn’t enough. It might fool other outlets that don’t cover Student Sections, but not us. We have to know how bad you want it and marketing is key. 

You will see top-notch Student Sections miss out at the top spot, but we kept saying it over and over and over again, in order to be considered number one, you have to win the Student Section of the Week title. Otherwise, what is the point of having that contest?!

I know Student Sections complain, but remember it’s thousands of Student Sections and only me. Social media is your friend if used correctly.

This is our second year covering Football Student Sections in Alabama.

We hope to get a solid grasp of the Student Section scene in Alabama, but there are so many Student Sections. This is the deep state when it comes to Student Sections and we’re hoping to be more accurate this fall!

The Alabama Football Student Section Champion will move on to Regionals in hopes to get the National Championship banner as voting will now get involved!

So, let’s see who made the list and who is the best in the Heart of Dixie.

2023 ALABAMA FINAL TOP 40 FOOTBALL STUDENT SECTION RANKINGS

  1. Auburn Unit

The Unit has done it again. They show up in large packs and are consistent when it comes to social media. The Unit will look to battle in Regionals and Nationals, but for now they have gone back-to-back as the 2023 Alabama Football Student Section Champions!

  1. Hoover Boneyard

We didn’t see the Boneyard that often, but when we did, we weren’t disappointed. One of the best in Alabama, the Boneyard can pack any stadium!

  1. Thompson War Zone

The War Zone has been regarded as one of the best and sometimes you may catch them on National Television. They can rock the best themes out there!

  1. Hewitt-Trussville Dogpound

The Dogpound is another Student Section people talk about and you can see why. One of the best in Alabama every year!

  1. Vestavia Hills Jungle

The Jungle is fantastic and what helps is that they have a solid Middle School Student Section. Talk about a winning tradition. The future Jungle is prepped and ready to cheer on for Vestavia Hills!
